Day 2 of our Batangas trip. Sarreh for posting this a bit late, dears.
I was so excited that morning as we were going to ride a boat to another island! YAY! It was my first time to ride such and I enjoyed it. I thought I already rode a boat before, as in a large boat like super ferry, but my mom said hindi pa, then I realized it was just one of my day dreams again. #feelingera
Got amazed with the beauty of the sea. I was like a kid (as usual), I can't help myself but to take lots of pictures and videos of the blue skies and the huge mountains. Awesome experience!
Mom and Dad...
Me and Daniel. Oh we just love taking pictures!
The beach water there is so clear! Clear that you can actually see your feet underneath the water! Obviously, it's cleaner compared to the one at Alix, where you can't see anything (bukod sa floating plastics) dahil OA sa pagka-brown ang tubig. -__-
What I loved about the "magulang" (pinanindigan ko na talaga ang word na "magulang") beach resort is that there were fishes! I know, ang babaw lang ng kaligayahan ko. -__- Good thing we brought our goggles. It was like swimming with the fishes! I tried to catch one but it swims really really fast! Haha! The beach sand? You might ask. Oh well, it was not the "white sand" the mamang bankga driver boasted. Light brown lang but not white. Frustrating :|
The Story Behind the Name "MAGULANG BEACH RESORT"
Literally, nagulangan kame.
First, the mamang bankga driver promised to drive us to another island (white sand daw) which made all of us really excited. At baket naman hindi, imagine, for just 90/head (originally 100/head) we can already hop to another island? Wow for that! But, err, that didn't happen! They drove us to another beach resort, instead! That's fine sana because the beach is lovely naman. But the thing was, the resort staff was asking us to pay the entrance fee, that's P100 per head (we're 12), and rent a cottage that costs P600 even if we will only stay there for 3 hours! (3 hours because our check out time at Alix is 12nn and we have to leave "Magulang" by 10Am)
Of course we were all pissed off. The mamang bankga driver didn't tell us that we have to pay such fees. Kainis, di ba? We paid for the boat ride na nga then we'll pay for the resort pa. Doble gastos! If we only knew, then we would not have rode that effin' boat! My sister told the bangka driver to just drive us to another resort that's free. That idea was fine for the boat drivers, but the thing was, we still have to pay the entrance fees because we already entered their resort ("'pag tapak, bayad na", something like that ba). So we had no choice but to stay and enjoy even if we're no longer in the mood.
So yeah, that's why we called it the "Magulang" Beach Resort. Because nagulangan kame. LOL.
While in the boat, heading back to Alix beach front. Ume-emote lang kame ni Daniel. Both actors, eh. CHAR!
I'm 22-years old. But I'm physically 14 and mentally 5. LOL! (Ah pleeease! Kebs na sa damaged hair ko! At sa mga pisngi kong parang sinalpakan ng jaw breakers!)
This was supposed to be a stolen shot! Why did you pose, ate? BOO! :|
Err, I don't wanna go home pa that time. I found the 2-day vacation so bitin! :|
Kidding aside, we ordered 2 bowls of special bulalo, 2 plates of lechon kawali, and a plate of fried chicken. I didn't try the last two, just the bulalo.
